We are trying to migrate SLES for SAP Applications 15 SP6 to SP7 on ppc64le (IBM Power) using an internal RMT server.
The main SP6 → SP7 package migration proceeds, but the migration fails during the subsequent release-package/post-migration installation stage.
The error reports:
Exit code: 104
with a “no provider” error while attempting to install the required release package.
The same issue is reproducible on repeated migration attempts. After each failed attempt, we restored the system to the pre-migration snapshot.
Has anyone encountered exit code 104 / no provider during an SLES for SAP 15 SP6 → SP7 migration?
Any guidance on what could cause the required release package provider not to be resolved during the post-migration stage would be appreciated.
