Hello,

has anyone first experience in the Installation of Suse Enterprise12 with Oracle Database12c?

Is there any specifics during the Installation ( System / Application )

Thank you for your answer

Philipp

A quick Internet search found
[http://ftp.suse.com/pub/partners/oracle/docs/OracleDB\_on\_SLES12.pdf](http://ftp.suse.com/pub/partners/oracle/docs/OracleDB_on_SLES12.pdf)
which has quick steps for installing Oracle Database 11gR2 & 12cR1 on
SLES12 GMC3.

Whilst it’s hosted on SUSE’s FTP server that doesn’t mean it’s
officially supported by SUSE.

You may also find [http://www.susecon.com/doc/2014/sessions/TUT8050.pdf](http://www.susecon.com/doc/2014/sessions/TUT8050.pdf)
useful.

They’re slides from session TUT8050 “Installing, Tuning, and Deploying
Oracle Database on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12” that was presented
during last year’s SUSECon 2014.

I know this thread is a year old but having just seen the following I
thought it would be useful to post here.
