Hi,

i have a SLES 11 SP4 and try to undo some changes using btrfs:

snapper status 4460…4464
Failure (org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply). I tried it with different id’s, always the same.

I want to see which files have changed and undo the changes. I found several people in the net having the same problem.
E.g.: [https://github.com/openSUSE/snapper/issues/176](https://github.com/openSUSE/snapper/issues/176)
Same with “snapper undochange”.

I tried the metioned hack, but didn’t succeed. I updated dbus to the most recent version available from the update channel (1.2.10-3.33.1). No success.
There seems to be no update or patch for snapper.

Does anyone know if this is or will be fixed ?

If not, snapper and btrfs is senseless and broken for me ☹
Or is there another way to rollback to my snapshot ?

Thanks.

Bernd

Is one of these the “official” bugzilla ? But the one from [bugzilla.suse.com](http://bugzilla.suse.com) seems only to be responsible for SLES 12 SP3 beta, or am i wrong ?
I remember asking here a while ago for a bugzilla for suse and i think i got the answer there is no one.

Thanks.

Hi
Do you have a LTSS SLES 11 SP4 subscription? Or the system is fully up to date with an active subscription?

Sure there is bugzilla for SLE 11 SP4 at [https://bugzilla.suse.com/enter\_bug.cgi?product=SUSE%20Linux%20Enterprise%20Server%2011%20SP4%20(SLES%2011%20SP4)](https://bugzilla.suse.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=SUSE%20Linux%20Enterprise%20Server%2011%20SP4%20(SLES%2011%20SP4)) but you could also open a Service Request?

Hi Malcom,

thanks for your answer. I tried the link, but that didn’t help me. I logged in with my scc account, but got the message “Sorry, either the product SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP4 (SLES 11 SP4) does not exist or you aren’t authorized to enter a bug into it.”.
We have a valid subscription.

Hi
If your logged into the forum, following the link above should automatically logged you into bugzilla?

Else if your entitled to raise an SR, then log into SCC and click on the ‘Support’ tab.

If neither of those work, advise and will see if I can do anything with my SUSE Contacts.

Hi Malcom,

using the link from the forum being logged in leads me to bugzilla without an additional login, but still get the message:
Sorry, either the product SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP4 (SLES 11 SP4) does not exist or you aren’t authorized to enter a bug into it.

We have a valid subscription, but i think not a support contract. Is that enough to raise a SR ?

Hi
I’ve asked my SUSE Contacts, may be day or two to get a reply.

Hi
Can you please ensure that the system is all up to date with
updates and patches etc;

```auto
zypper ref
zypper up
zypper -t patch up
```

If you still see the issue can you please run supportconfig and upload
(anonymous access) the file to ftp://support-ftp.suse.com/in and PM me
the file name.

Hi Malcom,

zypper up solved the problem. Snapper status is now running fine. Thanks.

Hi
We don’t worry about a solved in the Subject,
saying you fixed/solved the issue is enough.

Hi,
i like to do it because (when the forum is indexed by google, which i don’t know and don’t believe due to login) then the google hits showing a “Solved” are the ones you should prefer, which is a convenience for the community (and for me too), in my eyes.
I often do this in mailing lists.

Another thing:

what is about the bugzilla for SLES 11 SP4, which i didn’t find ? How can i reach it ? I would appreciate knowing that.

Hi
Not sure, can you start a new thread about this (helps those search
engines 😉 )
