# squid + LDAP authentication (eDir) squid\_ldap\_auth missing

hello,

i want to create a squid proxy server with user authentication. But i need some help 😕

I can’t find the “squid\_ldap\_auth” modul on SLES12…

Some ideas?

Hi  
Maybe better to ask in the eDir forums? That’s an old article (circa  
2006)…

I see it (/usr/sbin/squid\_ldap\_auth) present in both the SLE 12 Pool and  
Update repositories in both squid3 and squid2.7.
