# SUSECON 2017 Scheduler issues

Currently the Schedule hours are 7am to 6pm. Given some hands-on
sessions on the Wednesday run until 19:15 please can the schedule hours
be extended to 7.15pm to match (or at least 7pm)?
It would also be useful when browsing and searching sessions if, like in
previous years, you could choose the type of session such as Technical
Tutorial, Exam, etc.
Finally it seems that not all sessions are correctly categorised - for
example filtering on High Performance Computing (HPC) lists no sessions
yet a keyword search for HPC lists three sessions: CAS126499, FUT128444,
and TUT126310. Unfortunately unless there’s an easy way to do this I
realise it’s not a fun job for someone to do! Unless of course you put
the onus on the sessions presenters to fix their own sessions …

If the schedule is to be extended, why not extend it to 10:00 PM?
The schedule allows for the inclusion of “Personal Time” which does not necessarily have to coincide with the conference hours. There may be times in the evening when attendees may wish to schedule time with other attendees.

7.15 or 10 PM, either would allow me to add an event I’ve now been
invited to that starts at 7PM on the Monday.
Bizarrely the SUSECON 2017 Google app covers up to 10PM in the personal
schedule, it’s just that you can’t actually add anything to it via the app!

True but I was wanting to avoid having to enter individual
sessions into my personal calendar.
In any case I forwarded this thread to SUSECON Support and have
now received a reply to say that they will extend the scheduler
hours to 10:00pm which should be active tomorrow.
