# Sync RHEL 8 Repos

Hi all,

have anyone already added the rhel 8 repos to Suse Manager and could maybe help me?  
I followed this guide: [https://www.suse.com/documentation/suse-best-practices/sbp-sumaforrhel/data/sbp-sumaforrhel.html](https://www.suse.com/documentation/suse-best-practices/sbp-sumaforrhel/data/sbp-sumaforrhel.html)

I’m able to sync the rhel 7 repos but not the rhel 8 repos.

`/usr/bin/spacewalk-repo-sync --channel res-8-x86_64-baseos --type yum
09:22:00 ======================================

09:22:00 ======================================
09:22:00 Sync of channel started.
09:22:01 RepoError: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: rhel-8-for-x86_64-baseos-rpms. Please verify its path and try again
09:22:01 Total time: 0:00:00`

I used the url: [https://cdn.redhat.com/content/dist/rhel8/8/x86\_64/baseos/os](https://cdn.redhat.com/content/dist/rhel8/8/x86_64/baseos/os)  
Also tried 8Server and 0 for $releasever (the 8 in the middle).

The certificates seems to be ok as rhel 7 is working. The URL also as I’m able to sync the repos on a rhel server.

Have someone an idea?

Ok, I refreshed the certificates on the RHEL system (subscription-manager refresh) and created new cert and key on the Suse Manager. Now it’s working for RHEL 8.  
The certificates which I’m using for RHEL 7 seems not to work with RHEL 8.

Strange…
