# Troubleshooting Active Directory authentication

Hi,

I am trying to configure rancher to use AD for authentication but keep receiving "   
server error while authenticating".

The DC is samba 4 via nethserver and I have it working with other services. Are there any logs or anything that can help troubleshoot?
