# Unable to import EKS cluster

Howdy all!

I am building out a new Rancher cluster based on 2.5.10 and seem that the import process has changed greatly from my 2.4.2 cluster and I am unable to get my clusters into my new Rancher.

I built a test cluster and with the old kubectl commands can import that cluster into 2.4 no issue, but once removed and I try to import into the 2.5.10 I keep getting this message:

Failed to communicate with cluster: Unauthorized

The AWS creds I am using are full admin so I am not sure where things might be going wrong. Has anyone run into this or know what might be going on?
