I would like to connect to my SLES 12 SP4 AWS EC2 instance consoles as described in https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/compute/new-using-amazon-ec2-instance-connect-for-ssh-access-to-your-ec2-instances/. It appears that I need a package called “ec2-instance-connect” which I cannot find for SLES 12 SP4.

Packaging EC2 instance connect is on our roadmap, but there is not ETA. For the time being you will need to install it from upstream https://github.com/aws/aws-ec2-instance-connect-config
