I just want a live installation disk

Although I’ve never heard this described,
Why not start with the standard DVD release,
Go to where you select “online sources” and set those to point to
online sources,
And then remove the on-disk repo source?

Seems to me you’d be left with the full install flow as created and
maintained by SUSE, including the multitude of configuration options
from disk layouts to time zones to Desktop choice to install packages
and more…
