How to change the NIC type, VSphere Cloud provider

Hello,
I have an on-prem RKE2 cluster deployed to vSphere using the “Cloud Provider: vSphere” (out-of-tree)
vSphere CPI and CSI are working as expected.

I’m attempting to get RDMA working but have run into a snag.
The nodes provisioned by the cloud provider get a “Network Adapter” type of VMXNET3 and I need them to be PVRDMA

I’ve searched the vSphere provider documentation as well as RKE documentation but have found nothing, any thoughts?
