We are experimenting with Rancher, and have discovered that the snapshot GUI functionality seems to be missing on imported clusters?
Clusters created in Rancher has the snapshot tab and snapshot in the Explore dropdown.
Are we missing something, or is this “by design”?

This is by design - for registered (imported) clusters you have to manage etcd snapshots manually outside of the Rancher UI.

So a chicken and egg question is next; how could one deploy Rancher in a Rancher created cluster with snapshot in GUI??
