I am running rancher as a container within a vm (Oracle 9 and Ubuntu 20.04.6).
Rancher installs and runs fine but after a period of time (hours) the GUI no longer works.
The intiial resources load, the spinner starts, but this xhr request:
/v1/management.cattle.io.setting?exclude=metadata.managedFields
hangs and doesn’t return anything.
Other api calls work, such as /rancherversion
Where is the /v1/management.cattle.io.setting web service implemented? Is it in the rancher process itself, or does rancher dispatch the requtest to one of the rancher pods?
What could lead to this endpoint not working?
