Rancher running on Elemental

Hello,

Can I run Rancher on Elementary?

I am new to Kubernetes and new to Rancher. For starting in my Home Lab I found with Rancher and k3S good solution to start with. I also like the concept of Elemental good to deploy the Linux OS of each node controlled by Rancher.

But is there also a way to use Elemental as underlaying of for Rancher? Or is this a bad idea?
Otherwise I would go with openSUSE MicroOS.

No, Rancher cannot manage itself (resp. the operating system layer it runs on) yet

This clearly answers my question.

So, in this case I believe going with openSUSE MicroOS is a good way to go.
