On RKE1 there was support for Project Network Isolation in Rancher. This support is not available through the web interface nor the Terraform Provider for RKE2 imported clusters.
We now enable it manually by editing the clusters.management.cattle.io resource and change the field enableNetworkPolicy from null to true but this is cumbersome and awkward. Also on some places in the webui this leads to errors. For example, editing cluster configuration to change a version or more importantly editing users.
My question is, what is the reasoning behind this decision to not expose this valuable option to imported RKE2 clusters?
