Repository sync issue for Ubuntu products in Setup Wizard (MLM 5.1 on Micro Linux 6.1)

Hi all,

I’m having an issue with repository synchronization for the Products in the Setup Wizard of the Multi Linux Manager. I’m currently running version 5.1 on Micro Linux 6.1.

The weird thing is that some channels sync and others don’t. I can add a GPG key manually to the subchannels that I created from the main repo (product) but it doesn’t make any difference. Now I don’t get any new packages when I run the content lifecycle for a subchannel.

It also doesn’t work if I disable GPG verification on the channel.

Does anyone have an idea why this is happening and how I can fix it? I tried a bunch of commands to resync the repository, but I still get the same message.

Command '\[/usr/bin/spacewalk-repo-sync, --channel, ubuntu-2204-amd64-main-amd64, --type, deb, --non-interactive\]' exited with error code 1: 12:42:56 ======================================
12:42:56 | Channel: ubuntu-2204-amd64-main-amd64
12:42:56 ======================================
12:42:56 Sync of channel started.
12:42:57 Plugin error: GPG verification failed: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jammy/InRelease

For other channels like Rocky Linux and SLES, syncing works fine—it’s only Ubuntu that doesn’t work.

Thanks!

When you tried disabling GPG verification did you see the same error?

I currently have the exact same problem with the Debian 12 product/channels:

Command ‘[/usr/bin/spacewalk-repo-sync, --channel, debian-12-pool-amd64, --type, deb, --non-interactive]’ exited with error code 1: 09:50:11 ======================================
09:50:11 | Channel: debian-12-pool-amd64
09:50:11 ======================================
09:50:11 Sync of channel started.
09:50:12 Plugin error: GPG verification failed: http://deb.debian.org/debian/dists/bookworm/InRelease
09:50:12 Total time: 0:00:01

How can i disable the GPG verification when adding new products from the Setup Wizard?
