Since you've now said you're new to Linux I'm going to ask the question
that came to mind when I first read your original post: Why do you want
to replace the kernel with a newer version?

Very, very, few people ever replace the kernel. It's the sort of thing
that one generally doesn't do unless you're already very familiar with
Linux and have a specific reason for doing it.

Working as in coding/testing network drivers?

Or you need a working network driver for your hardware since the .32
version doesn't work?

If you need a driver to work with your hardware, then will need
additional info.
