SNMP setup

Hi , need a help to setup snmp .

    In what way, is net-snmp installed etc? Is this for receiving or sending traps?

    just run the command zypper install net-SNMP, installed successfully and its just for receiving .
    setup snmp.conf file as below

    @Thevan Hi, so all good now? If not read the documentation indicated in EXAMPLE.conf should be good to go. Enable/start the service and ensure firewall ports are open.

    libsensors4 libsnmp30 libwrap0 net-snmp perl-SNMP perl-Term-ReadKey snmp-mibs

    I see;

    :~ # systemctl status snmpd.service
    ● snmpd.service - Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Daemon.
         Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/snmpd.service; disabled; vendor preset: disabled)
         Active: inactive (dead)
    :~ # systemctl status snmptrapd.service 
    ● snmptrapd.service - Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Trap Daemon.
         Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/snmptrapd.service; disabled; vendor preset: disabled)
         Active: inactive (dead)

    cat /etc/os-release

    Are there files in /usr/lib/systemd/system;

    ls /usr/lib/systemd/system/snmp*

    @Thevan Hi, can you force the re-install of net-snmp;

    zypper in -f net-snmp

    @Thevan Hi, very strange to me... are the systemd files present;

    ls /usr/lib/systemd/system/snmp*
