Hi,
We have a problem using the 'mount' in SLES 12 (Kernel = Linux sles12 3.12.28-4-default)

In /etc/fstab

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/directory /backups nfs defaults 0 0

# mount -v /backups
mount.nfs: timeout set for Fri Nov 14 12:57:21 2014
mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'vers=4,addr=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,clientaddr=xxx.xxx.xx x.xxx'
mount.nfs: mount(2): Invalid argument
mount.nfs: an incorrect mount option was specified
#

if we do it manually. the error is the same

# mount -t nfs4 -v xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/directory /backups
mount.nfs: timeout set for Fri Nov 14 12:59:35 2014
mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'vers=4,addr=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,clientaddr=xxx.xxx.xx x.xxx'
mount.nfs: mount(2): Invalid argument
mount.nfs: an incorrect mount option was specified

using NFSv3, mount is correct

mount -t nfs -o vers=3 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/directory /backups

This same configuratión on SLES11 Sp3 works fine with nfs3,nfs4 and nfs4.1

The NFS Server is a NETAPP

Any idea?

Regards
Nacho
